Lloyd G. Westerman, Principal

Before founding Westerman Construction, Lloyd worked for two of the country’s largest construction management firms, NICO Construction and Bovis Lend Lease (LMB) gaining experience in museum renovations, base building, and corporate interiors. 

In his 30 years in the construction industry, Lloyd has gained an unparalleled breadth of experience with unique and challenging building projects. He has served as a consultant to public and private clients who value his thoughtful and thorough treatment of their work. Every job that Westerman Construction takes on benefits from Lloyd’s oversight and day to day involvement.

Lloyd holds a degree in Art and Architectural History from Vassar College. He is a member of  Association of General Contractors New York City Building Department Liaison Committee and is a member of the Advisory Council of Transportation Alternatives. He has delivered papers to the International Association of Museum Facility Administrators and is a recipient of the ART/NY DeWitt Stern Local Hero Award Exemplary Dedication and Service to NYC’s Not-For-Profit Theatre Community.



Dan Wrzesinski, RA, LEED AP, Sr. Project Manager

A registered architect and graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with degrees in Architecture and Building Sciences, Dan has been with Westerman Construction for 9 years. He has managed work for clients such as The Public Theater, City and Country School, the New York Public Library, and Saint Thomas Church. Dan began his career practicing architecture, working on projects for HNTB at Boston’s Logan International Airport and The Central Artery Tunnel. He moved on to spend several years designing residential projects in the tri-state area. Prior to joining Westerman, Dan spent eight years managing high end residential and commercial construction for a builder in New York City.

Dan’s projects with Westerman Construction include Manhattan Country School, Saint Thomas Church, Brooklyn Museum, Flea Theater, New York Public Theater, Brooklyn Public Library and Greenpoint Manufacturing and Design Center.


Brian Grover, Project Manager

Trained as a civil engineer, with a degree from the University of Wisconsin at Madison, and an EIT, Brian has been with Westerman Construction for 11 years and has managed work for Dow Jones, The New York Public Theater, The New York Public Library, The New York Botanical Gardens, The Frick Collection and Art Reference Library, The Police Athletic League and many other cultural institutions.    Brian worked in the Standby and Emergency power field for several years before coming to Westerman, handling large-scale equipment installations and surveying for construction projects.

Brian’s projects with Westerman Construction include Third Street Music School Settlement, New York Public Library's Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, Boriken Neighborhood Health Center, Frick Collection and Downing Street Mews.
