In the 1960s the previous owners of this beautiful late Victorian department store building removed all the original cast iron façade elements and clad it in beige brick. Our scope included removing this cladding completely and replacing it with hundreds of historically accurate fiberglass reinforced concrete (GFRC). Work included replacing all the windows, doors and renovating the lobby. Landmark District.
