Construction of a new 37,000 sf five-story gallery building in Manhattan’s west side arts district. Work includes drilled caisson foundations, reinforced concrete superstructure – 300lb per sf live load floors and transfer beams, masonry exterior, Bator doors (second US installation), Schuco windows, column-free gallery with clerestory, industrial two-opening freight elevator, energy efficient glazing and skylights, and complete interior fit-out including state of the art mechanical systems with slot diffusers.
